“Development Engineer (m/f/d) for Reliability Testing of Power Electronic Components and Testbench Development” at Chemnitz Power Labs GmbH
We are looking for a Development Engineer (m/f/d) for the definition and execution of reliability tests for power electronics components as well as for the design and development of new testbenches. In this position you will be responsible for defining the test strategy for customer applications as well as supervising the execution of tests by our technical team. While working closely with customers, you will coordinate and interpret test results.
Your responsibilities:
- Define and support reliability tests such as power cycling tests, HTRB, HTGB, H3TRB, and other tests from AQG-324.
- Design and development of new testbenches for customer applications as well as for internal use
- Interpretation and reporting of test results to customers and internal teams
- Integrate simulation and AI methods into test procedures to improve testefficiency and accuracy
- Work closely with the technical team and our customers to meet requirementsand to find excellent solutions
Your profile:
- Completed studies in the field of Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.
- Experience in reliability testing and development of testbenches in the field of power electronics
- Knowledge in the application of simulation and AI methods in test development or failure analysis
- Programming skills in LabVIEW and in C
- Experience working with customers and internal teams
- Ability to understand complex technical problems and find solutions
- Good command of German and English, both written and spoken
