“Technical Project Manager (m/f/d) in the field of Power Electronics” at Chemnitz Power Labs GmbH

As a Technical Project Manager (m/f/d) in the field of Power Electronics, you will take on a key role in our team, assuming responsibility for the comprehensive organization and management of projects. Your focus will be on coordinating the development activities in hardware, software, and mechanical design for innovative testing systems and the qualification of power semiconductors. You will lead a team of developers and technicians, coordinating their work to successfully achieve project goals.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
    • Leading and organizing projects in the field of power electronics.
    • Planning, coordinating, and monitoring all activities to achieve project goals within deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Test Procedures and Protocols:
    • Implementing and monitoring test procedures for power electronics.
  • Team Coordination:
    • Effective coordination of project teams and resources to ensure smooth
      project execution.
    • Ensuring the motivation and engagement of team members.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identifying potential risks in the project process and developing strategies to minimize them.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain
      transparency regarding project progress and results.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and guidelines in all project phases.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in project management in the electronics field or related areas.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, organization, and control.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make clear decisions.

Chemnitz Power Labs GmbH is a young and dynamic company, founded in November 2021 as a spin-off from the Chair of Power Electronics at the Technical University of Chemnitz.
