The power electronic market is growing strongly driven by the renewable, automotive and industrial sector. And that, in turn, is motivated by the need of CO₂ reduction. With this background Chemnitz Power Labs GmbH was founded in November 2021 as a spin-off of the Professorship of Power Electronics at Chemnitz University of Technology. The gained extensive knowledge and experience will be used to support our customers making their products more robust and reliable

A strong link between Chemnitz Power Labs and the Professorship is still present to combine the best of both facilities which also explains the location of the company

The 3 founders have deep knowledge in the field of power electronics, reliability tests and circuit design. Beside the service of reliability testing as power cycling or dielectric testing, also own products are on the way
