Developer – Power Electronics (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Development Engineer (m/f/d) in part-time or full-time, who will be responsible for overseeing the execution of our reliability tests for power electronics components, coordinating the technical team, and contributing to the design and development of new test benches.

About us:

We are a young and dynamic company founded in November 20021 as a spin-off from the Chair of Power Electronics at Chemnitz University of Technology. We specialize in providing advanced testing services for power semiconductors. In addition to conducting reliability tests and developing test benches four our customers, we are actively engaged in an EU-founded project and maintain close collaboration with the Chair of Power Electronics on research initiatives. By driving modern technologies such as electromobility and renewable energy, we contribute to reducing CO 2 emissions and are poised for further growth.

Your tasks:

  • Defining and overseeing reliability test such as load cycling tests, HTRB,
  • HTGB, H3TRB and other tests from AQG-324
  • Designing and developing new test benches for customer applications and internal projects
  • Interpreting test results
  • Reporting to customers
  • Integrating simulations and AI methods into testing procedures to improve test efficiency and accuracy
  • Close collaboration with the technical team and our customers to meet project requirements and address any challenges in a customer-oriented manner

Your profile:

  • Completed degree in power electronics or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in conducting reliability tests and developing test benches in the field of power electronics
  • Knowledge of applying simulation and AI methods in test development or failure analysis
  • Programming skills in LabVIEW and C
  • Experience working with customers and coordinating work processes
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Reliable and independent work ethic
  • Ability to understand complex technical problems and solve them in a customer-oriented manner
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
