“Laboratory Manager (m/f/d) in the field of Power Electronics” at Chemnitz Power Labs GmbH
As Laboratory Manager (m/f/d) for Power Electronics, you assume a central role in our team, playing a crucial function in the leadership and organization of tests for power electronics. In addition to your main responsibility, you are also tasked with the development and construction of test setups to ensure the execution of precise and reliable tests. In doing so, you place particular emphasis on adhering to the ISO17025 standards for calibration and quality assurance.
Your Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a small team of technicians in the test laboratory.
- Organize and coordinate daily activities to ensure smooth workflow.
- Test Procedures and Protocols:
- Implement and monitor test procedures for power electronics.
- ISO17025 Implementation:
- Ensure compliance and implementation of ISO17025 standards in the laboratory.
- Coordinate internal audits and collaborate with external testing authorities.
- Calibration:
- Take responsibility for the calibration of test equipment and instruments.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability in all calibration processes.
- Quality Control:
- Introduce quality control measures and ensure high testing accuracy.
- Identify and implement improvements in testing processes.
Your Profile:
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field; alternatively, equivalent education.
- Ideally, several years of experience in leading test laboratories and in the field of electronics.
- Profound knowledge of ISO17025 standards and experience in their implementation.
- Experience in the calibration of test equipment and instruments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Chemnitz Power Labs GmbH is a young and dynamic company founded in November 2021 as a spin-off from the Chair of Power Electronics at the Technical University of Chemnitz.
